My Story
When the name "The Simple Life Finds" first came to my mind, it occurred to me that it was because I was at the phase of life where I have begun to truly grasp the concept of finding joys in simplicity.​

Gone were the days when I was working for a high end fashion and celebrity magazine, where I thought the most important thing was that luxurious Bottega Veneta calf leather handbag, or attending extravagant fashion galas, and that almost made me flat broke trying to keep up with the ton. Many years have also passed since I was that innocent first time mother, who thought she had to get that parenting gig down pat at the first go, and then making myself depressed and stressed out on the run listening to well meaning (but sometimes unappreciated) advice from self declared experts.

It was when I was trying to perfect motherhood that I started blogging. I had to find a way to release my stress. But then one child became two, two became three, and I totally couldn't find time. And when I did, I couldn't justify spending time "journaling" when there were a million and one other things to do, like the never ending house chores, or spending quality (or is it quantity?) time with the kids, or helping out at school events. As such, my blogging journey came to a stagnant pause in 2010.

However, now that my kids are older, and more independent, I'm going to make 2025 my year of change. It will be the year of endless self rediscovery, outside of the mommy role. It's about taking that simple step, out of my comfort zone of being a SAHM for the past 15 years, and restarting my blogging journey. I feel as a woman, we will relate to different things as we advance through different stages of womanhood. So there's no specific theme to the blog yet, but I will to have simply embrace the challenge and take it one step at a time and find my niche when the time is right.
